Dick Wicklund is co-author of The Kinsman Lines and an authority on the history of the Kinsman fleet He was a frequent contributor to Lake Huron Lore’s The Lightship, and was a member of their board of directors. He has been taking photographs for many years and graciously shares them with others for stories or books they are working on, or for their own collections. He is also active in the Saginaw River Marine Historical Society and contributes to their journal The Modoc Whistle. In 2021 he generously donated his slide collection to the MHSD.
